Tuesday Market in Brief

(powernews.org) - The Tuesday afternoon continued trading up, and the Nord Pool system price came in on the relatively strong side at 185.92 NOK/MWh (+2.59). The awareness of snow deficit simultaneously with non-delivered precipitation helped trigger a northern movement today, which was introduced already yesterday afternoon.
All contracts were traded in the green this afternoon, with the exception of Week04 down NOK 2.50, and the last week’s anticipated bear trend was put to shame when the corrections up were noticeable all along the line. (powernews.org) - The Tuesday market started off trading somewhat down, but shortly came to a decision to change its course north, as players are reaching an understanding that maybe there won’t be any snow to fill up the reservoirs since exceptionally high temperatures are melting it all away. A Swedish trader argued for a continued price lift this morning, while he maintained that the system price is a weak link at the moment.
