The back end of the Nordic curve is weakening on Monday morning on the back of softer fuels and German power, while the front is moving sideways on cold and dry weather, traders said.
The YR 11 contract was last seen at EUR 43.00/MWh, down EUR 0.40 since Friday, while Q2 10 remained flat at EUR 48.40/MWh, up EUR 0.05 on the last settlement. The contract had bounced back from EUR 47.45/MWh in early trading.
