Prices were lifted a couple of NOK this morning, after players had been tempted to go short with the unchanged weather outlooks. “But bottom line is that too little water is delivering,” a Swedish trader said. “I sell,” an international trader countered.
- The market is trying to figure out the positioning of the high pressure; where is the high? To me it has become a question of when the NO1 regime collapses, so I sell, at least as far as the summer and autumn contracts. Right now it is southern Norway that fixes the spot, but eventually, when the flood of water starts pouring down, that´ll to come to an end, the international trader stated.
