Nordic front forward contracts are falling on Wednesday morning due to wet and mild weather forecasts.
The Week 17 contract last traded at EUR 31.75 EUR/MWh on Nasdaq OMX, down EUR 0.75, while the May contract last changed hands at EUR 27.20/MWh, down EUR 0.80 in thin trade. "The front is mainly being brought down by mild and wet weather forecasts. But players are a bit reluctant to sell due to the strong spot prices so far this week,” Robin Sköld, trader at Swedish supplier Bixia, said.
