The front end of the Nordic power curve is falling on wet weather forecasts on Monday, while contracts further out are rising with German power prices following a Green victory in regional elections on Sunday.
"The weather forecasts remain wet and the hydrological balance is gradually improving, There is no longer a big danger for energy supply problems in April,” said Anton Holton, trader at Swedish utility Dala Kraft. April was last seen at EUR 60.75/MWh, down EUR 1.15 from Friday, while Q2 11 was down 45 cents at EUR 56.50/MWh.
