Nordic forwards are softening on Monday morning on the back of wet and unusually mild weather conditions, traders said.
The Q1 10 contract was last seen at EUR 35.05/MWh, down EUR 0.25 from Friday's close, while YR 10 traded at EUR 34.80/MWh, down EUR 0.10 on the previous settlement. Wet and "very mild” weather conditions explained the price movement, while coal prices were stable, according to a Norwegian analyst.
