Even though the weather forecasts remain wet, a strong CO2 market has caused some buying interest on Nordic forwards this morning.
The Q4-07 contract was traded all the way up to EUR 36.10/MWh, but has later come off to a last trade of 35.85 (+0.35). "Prices came up due to a strong CO2 market and also some drier forecasts early on. But the later forecasting models have been wetter, indicating 5-6 TWh more precipitation than normal the next 10 days, and this may be the reason why prices have come down again," said Jens Østb
