Nordic power prices opened down on the back of wet forecasts this morning.
"The possibility of a more lasting high pressure was removed in today's forecasts, and that's why prices are coming down," said a Norwegian trader.Particularly the early EC 12 model was wet, pushing week 33 down to EUR 19.00/MWh and Q4-07 down at 37.25. When later forecasts were slightly drier, the Q4-07 adjusted up to trade last at 37.85, which is still down 70 cents from Friday.
