Nordic Market - Volatile weather

Forward prices are easing off, after a strong opening. A firm gas market and soaring German prices give bullish input to the market, while the weather forecasts are volatile and uncertain at the end of the period.
The latest EC update is wetter and milder than yesterday, and has contributed to a weakening forward market. Q1-06 traded at EUR 39.30 this morning, but the contract last changed hands at 38.85, down 25 cents. “The market opened up, because the forecasts were dry and rather cold, while the latest EC update is wetter and milder, and should in my opinion push prices down,” one
