Nordic Market - Trading remains cautious ahead of EU summit

Nordic forward prices are trading flat on thin volumes as the sentiment remains cautious ahead of the key eurozone debt summit on Thursday and Friday.
The Q1 12 contract last traded at EUR 40.80/MWh at Nasdaq OMX, up EUR 0.10 from Wednesday, while the 2012 contract last traded at EUR 39.90/MWh, up a marginal EUR 0.12 day on day. Markets are very quiet with very thin volumes going through, said a Finnish trader. There are no major changes in latest weather forecasts with precipitation remaining well above seasonal average, he said.
