Nordic Market - "Too few players"

Nord Pool prices are coming off slightly this morning, after two days of sharp gains. Q1-06 is last traded at EUR 39.05/MWh, down 20 eurocents from Wednesday.
The price movements today are rather insignificant compared to the recent swings. The high volatility is caused by the fact that there are too few, large market players, one trader comments.”The price movements are extreme, which is a result of the market being dominated by very few players. In my opinion, the main issue at the moment is how to analyse the market setting day by day

Nordic Market - Dominating bulls
The bullish run continues Wednesday morning, and Q1-06 has gained more than 2 euros from the lowest trade on Monday. In addition to a turn towards normal weather conditions, the curve is influenced by German power prices and a firm carbon market.
