The whole market lifted during the morning hours. The summer contract opened up a few notch at 178 NOK/MWh (175.25), continuing the strong uptrend that started after yesterday’s high system price.
The system price is likely to go up further from yesterday and reach a level of 250-255 NOK/MWh for tomorrow, according to a Norwegian analyst. “Based on low temperatures and Ringhals 2 out of operation, we think the spot should come up about ten NOK.
