Nordic Market - Testing the support level

The V2-05 contract has been traded at the bottom of its well established range for a while, with support at around 295 NOK/MWh. During the forenoon trading session the level seemed to be tested, with trades done at 294 NOK/MWh. However, the buyers returned quite quickly, and lifted the contract to 295.25 NOK/MWh.
Even though weather forecasts remain wet, carbon prices are softening andGermany is easing off, the movements at Nord Pool were only minor this morning, and the traded volumes were small. However, the activity currently seems to be picking up in the V2-05 contract.“The activity has been very low. I think few traders dare to put money on the downside in V2-05 yet. For the time being

Nordic Market - Deadlocked
Forward prices at Nord Pool are moving sideways from yesterday’s settlement. The meteorologists are still predicting large amounts of precipitation, while strengthening German power prices and carbon are pulling in the opposite direction.
