Nordic Market - "System price the key"

Unsettled weather forecasts continue to push the Nordic power curve down, and a Swedish trader said the system price in the second half of August could have a huge influence on the Q4-07.
"If the system price remains around 16-17 EUR/MWh also in two weeks time, then I think we will se a breakthrough on the Q4-07 below EUR 35. However, if it increases toward 20 euros - as is priced into the market - I think the Q4 will stay in its present 35-38.50 range," said Jens Nordberg of Plusenergi.The Q4-07 contract is down 45 cents at 36.15 this morning."Given the strong hyd
