Nordic Market - Supported by the spot

Nordic forward prices continued down this morning, but has strengthened later on. A further downside potential is limited by the system price as Q4-06 today was traded lower than the spot, one player pointed out.
“The market is coming down on a combination of wet forecasts and technical signals. Prices have moved up a lot lately and it is natural that players are taking profit,” portfolio manager Håkon Knutstad at Bergen Energi said earlier this morning.Q4-06 has been traded at EUR 76.40/MWh this morning, down 2.60 from yesterday’s closing price and EUR 7.10 below the peak from
