Nordic Market - Subdued by the rain

Quite a lot of precipitation fell over southern Norway the last 24 hours, and the front end of the curve continues down this morning. Further out on the curve prices are rising.
The spot price has been surprisingly soft this week, and will naturally drop further for the weekend before picking up again on Monday. However, low wind power output inDenmark and delays to the return of the 910 MW Ringhals 4 nuclear power station may prevent a similar fall to last weekend, when the spot dived more than 30 NOK/MWh from Saturday to Sunday. Nordic Market - Aiming for the bull?
The market opened up this morning on the back of a strong CO2 market and dry weather forecasts. V2-05 opened above yesterday’s close at 306 NOK/MWh but players do not expect it to break the resistance level of 310 NOK/MWh this week.
