A stronger than expected system price for Monday is one reason why prices have opened up in the Nordic market today.
The system price for Monday was around one euro stronger than the market expected before the weekend at EUR 53.45/MWh, and may climb a few cents further north tomorrow.“It will get slightly colder tomorrow and we will have higher load overnight. Probably the spot price will be lifted slightly from today’s level due to higher consumption,” says Roger Danielsen at Energip
