With a strong system price and weather forecasts looking slightly drier than before the weekend, Monday started off with a substantial price-lift. A Swedish trader wasn’t surprised that the market lifted this morning, but believed it was temporary.
– That the autumn contract would correct to 286/287 was expected, but not that it should be lifted more than that. But, the Monday spot was high, Formark1 was out of operation and may not have been reported in for today, and less water was delivered this weekend. Now Forsmark2 in delayed until Wednesday.
