Prices are jumping Tuesday morning, due to drier forecasts and a stronger than expected system price.
The front end of the curve has been lifted considerably from Friday. The forecasts have turned drier during the weekend, and the delivered precipitation has been below the forecast amounts. “Last week, the hydrological surplus was estimated to around 20 TWh, including the precipitation in the forecasts. During the weekend we have lost around three TWh,” says Pål Johannesen at Fjordk
