Prices in the Nordic power market are rising on Tuesday morning, mainly on the back of stronger oil, players said.
The Year 2010 at Nord Pool was last seen up 10 cents day on day at EUR 38.50/MWh.
''There is more optimism in the year contract,'' said Kjell Idar Saure, trader at Norwegian utility Tussa Kraft. Oil prices have fallen back slightly after a strong opening, but are around half a dollar higher than when the Nordic power market closed on Monday afternoon.&nb
