Nordic Market - Strong forwards

The forwards are continuing up this morning while the spot price for Friday is expected to drop due to lower consumption and more wind power.
Although the fundamental picture is more or less unchanged since yesterday, the forwards have climbed 1-2 NOK/MWh up this morning. The bellwether V2-04 contract traded last at 300 NOK/MWh, which is between yesterday’s close of 298.50 and this weeks high of 303.- There is nothing fundamentally today that indicates that the market will jump out of its 297-303 range on the V2-04 contr

The market was down at open but prices were lifted a little during a thin forenoon session. A Norwegian trader said the market considered the present level difficult and uncertain. A Swedish trader believed the market would be faced with a high pressure soon.
