Nordic Market - Still soaring

The entire market has been lifted considerably Tuesday morning on the back of drier forecasts and unstoppable coal prices.
The August contract has risen 4.10 euros to EUR 58 last, while the new front quarter, Q4-08, has gained 2.25 euros to EUR 75.60/MWh. YR-09 is up 1.25 euros at EUR 69.50.Market players say the strong rise is justified. The market opened upwards Wednesday morning, as forecasts are still quite dry and fuel prices are climbing further. However, the long end has eased off from the top, among other things due to somewhat weaker coal prices.
