Nordic Market - Spot to turn 200?

A firm system price and fear of a dry end to the 10-day period are limiting a further downside in the forwards market this morning.

The summer contract continues to slide cautiously down towards the 150 NOK/MWh level today, on wet and mild weather outlooks. One trader says the market is too cautious, and predicts a delivery price on the summer below 100 NOK/MWh.

The SO-05 contract has tested the strong support level of 159-160 NOK/MWh this morning and was last traded at 158.75 at Nord Pool. A low Friday spot and confirmed mild and wet weather forecasts keep pushing the down trend.
