Nordic Market - Soaring

The Nordic market has started out similarly to last Monday, with forward prices soaring due to a much stronger system price than expected. Meanwhile, the weather forecasts are varying a lot, and not all players have a bullish view.
The front quarter opened at EUR 37, before climbing above EUR 39, up more than three euros from Friday. The front week has jumped 4.50 euros to EUR 37.50 at Nord Pool.Players attribute the rise to the system price, which turned out well above expectations at EUR 37.81 today.
