Nord Pool forwards are weakening further on Thursday morning, driven by lower coal and emissions prices. Traders expect the downward spiral to continue on thin liquidity and weak fuels.
"Coal is the main driver at the moment. If oil breaks the USD 50/bbl support, coal and power will follow," a Finnish trader said, believing the softening of the years to be fundamentally motivated, while CO2 was too cheap.
