Nordic Market - Sinking in the rain

Forward contracts are dropping sharply, as wetter weather is expected to better the balance and gradually push spot prices down. Q4-06 is down more than five euros from Friday.
Players cite wet forecasts and delivered precipitation as the main price drivers today. Around 1.5 TWh more than normal precipitation was delivered yesterday and today is expected to be wet as well. Nordic forward prices continued down this morning, but has strengthened later on. A further downside potential is limited by the system price as Q4-06 today was traded lower than the spot, one player pointed out.
