Nordic Market - Rising sharply

Nordic power prices are taking a big jump Monday morning, triggered by a higher than expected spot and drier forecasts.
The front contracts have been lifted around three euros from Friday, with the largest gains seen on the June and July contracts at EUR 38 (+3.35) and EUR 39.95 (+3.35) respectively.However, not all players saw the rise as justified. "Forecasts are a bit drier and the system price was higher than expected, but in my opinion prices are lifted more by fear than by common sense," said Johan
