Nordic Market - Recovering from early slump

Nordic forwards opened strongly down on the back of wetter forecasts and softening commodity prices this morning, but has later regained much of the lost ground.
The largest drop occurred within Q3-08, which was down at EUR 41.25/MWh at the lowest this morning before climbing back to EUR 42.00/MWh, which is still down 80 cents from Friday. Susanna Ikonen, power portfolio advisor at Vattenfall Finland, attributed the bearish opening to wetter prognosis. "The hydro balance for week 21 is anticipated to rise to 14.4 TW

The market opened down, but has then strengthened to above yesterday's close, following changes in the weather forecasts. The years have been lifted by strong fuels.
