Nordic Market - Reaching new heights

Prices at Nord Pool are shooting up Monday morning, with gains of EUR 1.50-2.00 across the board. All factors are bullish, players explain.
The first trade in Q2-06 was done at EUR 50.00/MWh, up 1.30 EUR from Friday. YR-07 also gapped up more than a euro, with a first trade of EUR 47.50.“It was not very surprising that the market opened up this morning, but the rise was perhaps a bit sharper than most players had expected. The system price for Monday was higher than estimated, and the weather still looks cold and dry.
