Nordic Market - Q4 11 falls below marginal cost of coal

Wet weather and stop-losses are causing Nordic forwards to fall on Friday morning, with the benchmark front quarter falling below the marginal cost of coal-fired production.
The bellwether Q4 11 contract was last seen down EUR 1.25 day on day at EUR 47.15/MWh, the lowest level in a month and below the marginal cost of coal-fired production, which had previously given the contract support.
