Nordic Market -Q3 softens from firm start

The Nordic front quarter is coming off from the intraday highs on Monday morning with the weather outlook remaining colder and wetter than normal, traders said.
The Q3 12 contract last traded at EUR 28.30/MWh at Nasdaq OMX, up EUR 0.05 from Friday, but down EUR 0.55 from the morning highs. The market opened firmer on the back of a drier weather forecast, but a wetter EC 00 model triggered some selling on the front quarter contract, said a Finnish trader. "It is still the weather forecasts that are driving the market.
