Nordic forwards are declining on Monday morning on lower crude oil and negative global sentiment but still remain range-bound as there is no clear direction, traders said.
The bellwether front quarter was last seen at EUR 36.70/MWh, down EUR 0.50 on Friday's close, while the front year had shed EUR 0.70 at EUR 36.60/MWh. "Weaker crude oil is the main factor, while the front remains under pressure from wet forecasts. There's uncertainty in the air, but no new price trend is forming,” a Finnish trader said.
