Nordic Market - Prices soar despite wet outlooks

Prices at Nord Pool continue the strong trend seen before Easter, with several contracts hitting new all time highs this morning.
Despite forecasts showing around 200 per cent of normal precipitation amounts, prices are heading north across the board. If the current forecasts are realised, there will be a certain pressure in the Nordic system, but the amounts delivered have been less than forecast lately, and so the players are not pricing in the wet scenario.
