Nordic power prices are coming down on Tuesday morning due to a combination of softer oil prices and damper weather forecasts, players said.
The bellwether Q1 10 contract was last seen at EUR 36.80/MWh, down 55 cents day on day, while YR 10 was down 50 cents at EUR 36.15/MWh. "Prices are coming down on wet forecasts and weaker oil. I believe the weather is most crucial since market players priced in a longer period of dry weather last week,” said John Brottemsmo, analyst at Norwegian supplier Fjordkraft.
