The front end of the Nordic power curve is rising slightly on Wednesday, as market players are covering short positions amid more normal weather outlooks.
"We have seen an endless period of falling prices, so it is no surprise that we have a slight correction. This has been triggered by slightly more normal weather forecasts than we have seen previously, with colder weather expected next week,” said Tom Erik Olsen, trader at Norwegian supplier Ishavskraft.
The Q1 12 contract was last seen traded at EUR 42.35/MWh, up 35 cents
