A dry weather outlook and stronger oil prices are lifting the Nordic power curve on Tuesday, but one analyst warned that the day-ahead expectations may be too high.
The day-ahead contract was last seen trading at EUR 38.90/MWh, well above the Tuesday system price of EUR 35.98/MWh as temperatures were forecast to plunge well below zero. "The spot will increase, but personally I think a price between EUR 38.00 and 38.50/MWh is more likely.
