Nordic power prices are rising on Monday morning as the weather forecasts remain drier and colder than normal, players said.
The Q2 10 contract was last seen traded at 43.60/MWh, EUR 1.45 above Friday's close, while YR 11 was up 30 cents at EUR 41.50/MWh. "Many players had speculated in a change in the weather. But that has definitely not come,” said Per Arne Austli, trader at Norwegian utility Trønderenergi.
