Forward Nordic power prices are rising on Tuesday morning, following drier weather forecasts and a generally positive mood in financial markets, traders said.
The Q4 11 contract was last seen up EUR 1/MWh at EUR 50.10/MWh, while the August contract was 90 cents higher at EUR 43.95 /MWh.
The rise in forward prices was attributed to a hike in oil prices and a more positive sentiment in financial markets, one Swedish power trader said.
