Following two days of sharp falls, Nordic power prices are rising again on Wednesday morning in a market described by traders as "volatile and uncertain”.
At Nord Pool, the March contract was last seen traded at EUR 57.75/MWh, up EUR 2.30 from Tuesday's close, while the Q2 10 contract was last seen at 47.35/MWh, up EUR 1.60 day on day. ”Prices came down yesterday on the hint of a weather change and lower German prices. But today we see no change in the weather, it's going to stay cold and dry,” said a Swedish trader.
