Nordic Market -Prices pressed down by weaker oil, carbon

Nordic forward prices are falling on Friday morning, on the back of weaker equities and dropping oil and carbon prices, players said.
The Q2-09 contract last traded at EUR 32.30/MWh at Nord Pool, down EUR 0.30 from Thursday. The year 2010 contract was down EUR 0.75  at EUR 33.70/MWh. Throughout Thursday the Nordic power market followed high oil prices, on the back of stronger equity markets and a weaker US dollar.
