Contracts are drifting sideways on Monday morning, with participants waiting for a clear signal, traders said.
The bulk of the activity was focused on the Q2 11 contract, which was last seen 40 cents stronger at EUR 54/MWh, after trading as high as EUR 54.95/MWh earlier in the day. "The movement is weather driven, but people are still holding back a bit, waiting for a clearer signal,” said Kristian Keim, portfolio manager at Norwegian supplier Ishavskraft.
