Dry forecasts are cited as the main reason why prices at Nord Pool have risen more than a euro across the board. The market is described as thin, mostly due to the public holiday in Sweden.
“The market seems to be fumbling a bit this morning, but is mainly trading on the weather. Dry forecasts have lifted the contracts in the front in particular. So far, it has been a quiet morning though, and traded volumes are quite low,” one trader says.
