Nordic power contracts are continuing their bull run on Thursday with prices hitting record highs on dry, cold weather, coupled with a strong fuels complex, players said.
The bellwether Q1 contract was last seen at EUR 84.10/MWh, up EUR 1.10 on the previous day. The January contract hit EUR 91/MWh, before easing to EUR 90.90, up 40 cents on the day. "We are in a technically strong trend, it is very dry and cold, the winter is not letting go,” said Mattias Hellberg, trader at Shepherd Energy.
