Nordic forwards are rising slightly on Thursday morning following drier weather forecasts and gains in other markets. However, the main focus is on the midummer holiday, traders said.
The front quarter Q3 09 was last seen at EUR 34.60/MWh at Nord Pool, up 30 cents from the previous close.
"The water has disappeared from the forecasts," one Danish trader said, offering one possible explanation for the slight gains in the front end.
