Nordic forwards are firming on Monday morning on the back of cold and dry weather forecasts, traders said.
The front quarter was last seen at EUR 38.99/MWh, up EUR 0.59 from Friday, while YR 10 had gained EUR 0.55 at EUR 37.95/MWh. The rising forward curve was attributable to a confirmation of cold and dry weather, traders said.
"The cold period looks set to last until the end of the year. Ensemble values also indicate a dry and cold week ahead,” a Norwegian trader said.&n
