Nordic Market - Prices fall sharply on milder outlook

Milder weather forecasts and a lower than expected system price are causing Nordic power forwards to drop across the curve on Monday.
The March contract was last seen at EUR 37.75/MWh, down EUR 1.75 day on day, while Q2 12 was down EUR 0.90 at EUR 34.80/MWh on the Nasdaq OMX exchange. "The weather forecasts clearly indicate a change towards milder weather, while the system price for Monday also turned out below expectations at EUR 50.18/MWh.
