A change to wetter forecasts for next week has caused Nordic forward prices to drop on Tuesday.
The Q3 11 contract was last seen at EUR 57.20/MWh, down 80 cents day on day. "The forecasts are slightly wetter today than they were yesterday. That is the main reason why prices are falling back after they had previously risen on dry weather,” said Henrik Wennberg at the Coeli power fund in Sweden.
