Nordic Market - Prices fall on surprisingly weak spot

Nordic forward prices are falling on Monday morning due to a much weaker system price than expected, traders said.
Monday's system price was set at EUR 64.83 EUR/MWh, much lower than market expectations. The Monday contract closed on Friday at EUR 81.13/MWh. "There is one thing pulling down the market, and that is the low spot,” said a Norwegian trader. The area price in southern Norway (NO2) was EUR 59.69/MWh for Monday, and this had had a major influence on the system price
