Nordic power prices are falling on Friday morning amid thin trade due to the midsummer public holiday in Sweden and Finland.
"Not much is happening today, but the trend is down. This is due to slightly wetter weather forecasts. If the hydrological balance improves due to a lot of rain, the market could fall a lot in the short term,” said Willy Sægrov, trader at Bergen Energi.
The latest EC 00 weather forecast shows 7 TWh of rain in the next 10 days, compared with a seasonal norm of 5.9&nbs
