Nordic Market - Prices continue slide as spot falls

Nordic power prices are continuing to slide on Thursday afternoon after the system price ended a touch below expectations, players said.
Friday's system price was set at EUR 34.57/MWh, down EUR 1.53 from Thursday. Meanwhile the day-ahead contract at Nord Pool was last traded at 34.65/MWh. "The weather forecasts are very certain about the wet and mild conditions for the rest of the week,” said Danish traders Nordjysk Elhandel. Around twice the normal amount of precipitation was expected in Norway and Sweden
